A native of Italy, he had lived in Norfolk 40 years. His brother, Ulderico Gelardi, also operates an antiques shop at 340 West Olney Road. He was a son of Michael and Mrs. Michelina Albo Gelardi. Surviving, besides his brother, Ulderico, are his wife, Mrs. Arcangela Gelardi; two sons, Michael and David Gelardi, and two daughters, Mrs. Josephine Copley and Mrs. Irene Baine, all oŁ Norfolk; six grandchildren; three other brothers, Edward Gelardi, of Norfolk; Dionige Gelardi, of Lawrence, Mass.; and David Gelardi, of Rome, Italy; two sisters, Mother Superior
Cecilia and Mrs. Josephine Caltanissetta, both of Sicily; four nieces and two nephews. The body was removed to the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.
