Virginian Pilot December 5, 1992

Arcangela Gelardi Pavlock, 86, of the 800 block of St. Martin Drive, died Dec. 
2, 1992, in a hospital.
Mrs. Pavlock was a native of Sicily and was the former owner and operator of 
Gelardi Antique Shop and Maury Confections. She was a member of St. Gregory the 
Great Catholic Church in Virginia Beach.
Survivors include two daughters, Josephine G. Copley and Irene G. Brown, both of 
Virginia Beach; a son, David V. Gelardi of Virginia Beach; a sister, Pauline 
Vellines of Norfolk; a son-in-law, Walter Brown of Virginia Beach; a brother-in-
law, Bertrum Vellines of Norfolk; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 
a niece, Helen Wilmouth of Norfolk.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. today in St. Gregory 
the Great Catholic Church by Father Luke Policicchio and Father Paschal Kneip. 
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. A Christian Wake service was held Dec. 3 
at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel.
Memorial donations may be made to the Davis Corner Rescue Squad, 4672 Haygood 
Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23455 ATTN: Treasurer for Donations.
