Virginian Pilot August 19, 1993

Cora Genwright, 35, of the 1300 block of Picadilly St., a housewife, died 
Aug. 15, 1993, in DePaul Medical Center.
Mrs. Genwright was born in Newport News.
Survivors include her husband, Kelvin Genwright; a son, Andra Parham of 
Norfolk; her parents, Lizzie Pollard and Walter Pollard of Norfolk; five 
sisters, Pattie Rome of Chesapeake, Lousie Wilcoxon of Virginia Beach, Flora 
Parham of Newport News and Dora Brown and Pamala Pollard, both of 
Portsmouth; a brother, Jessie Gregory of Norfolk; and a host of nieces, 
nephews and other relatives and friends. A friend also includes, A. Mayo.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Twilight Funeral Home 
by the Rev. J.L. Kearney Sr. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. A wake 
will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Family and friends will assemble at 1 
p.m. Friday for procession to the chapel. Procession will leave at the home 
of Mr. and Mrs. Pollard, 1433 W. 27th St.
