Mrs. Lucy George - Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy George, who died at her 
residence, 710 Texas road, South Hill, on Aug. 22, were held on Aug. 26 at First 
Baptist Church, South Hill, with the Rev. J. H. Daniels officiating. Mrs. George 
is survived by three daughters, Misses Elizabeth, Martha, and Pauline George; a 
son, John George of New York City; five sisters, three brothers, and two 
grandchildren. Interment was made in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Chatman Funeral Home 
in charge.
