Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, March 8, 2000 
Marvin ``Chacono'' Gerald of the 600 block of W. 34th St., died March 4, 2000,
in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

A native of New London, Conn., he was born to Marvin Bean and Ella Gerald
Cochran. He was a member of Faith Temple COGIC and Holy Jerusalem COGIC.

Survivors include two sisters, Karen Perry of Norfolk and Kellyn Rogers and
husband, Ben, of Georgia; a brother, Allen Cochran of Norfolk; and a host of
nieces, nephews, aunts, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday at Holy Jerusalem COGIC, 712 E.
27th St., by Elder Queenie Barton. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing
will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Riddick Funeral Service; a wake will be held
from 6 to 7 p.m.
