Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Gerloff, aged 61, wife of Charles W. Gerloff, died yesterday 
morning at 9:40 o'clock at her residence, 1203 Ashland Circle, “Winona.” She was a 
native of New York State and had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 21 years. 
Besides her husband, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Nancy Buckley, of 
Norfolk; three daughters, Mrs. L. V. Gilbert, Mrs. M. F. Walsh, and Miss Edna Mae 
Gerloff; three sons, Sylvester J., Charles W., and Edgar J. Gerloff, and seven 
grandchildren, all of Norfolk, and two sisters, Mrs. A. E. Duryea, and Mrs. Andrew 
Pfieffer, both of New York. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic 
Church, Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
