NORFOLK - Mrs. Mary Louise McCourt Gerloff, 76, of 6017 River Road died in a 
hospital Wednesday.
She was the wife of Charles William Gerloff and a daughter of Frank William and 
Mrs. Mary Texcena Griffin McCourt.
A Norfolk native, she was a lifelong resident of this area. She was a member of 
Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Surviving, besides her husband, are four sons, the Rev. Charles W. Gerloff of 
Winchester and Frank M. Gerloff, John B. Gerloff, and Paul V. Gerloff of Norfolk; 
three brothers, the Rev. Frank C. McCourt, Charles V. McCourt, and Robert I. 
McCourt, and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret McCourt Bruns and Mrs. Elizabeth R. 
Woodsend, all of Norfolk; and 13 grandchildren.
The Rosary will be said in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 7:30.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Saturday at 
10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
