Virginia Mary Gibbard, 59, of the 8000 block of E. Glen Road, died Aug. 15, 1990, 
in a hospital.
Mrs. Gibbard was a native of Portsmouth, N.H. She was a member of Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Peter John Gibbard; a daughter, Donna M. Spinell of 
Norfolk; two sons, Peter J. Gibbard of Knoxville, Tenn., and Paul F. Gibbard of 
Norfolk; three sisters, Amelia Hanagan of Manchester, N.H., and Ann Dacko and 
Helena Biddalock, both of Jackson, N.H.; a brother, Anthony Daniel of Portsmouth; 
and five grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 
Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. Julian B. Goodman. Burial will be in St. 
Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may join the family from 7 to 9 p.m. today in 
the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
