Norfolk - Mrs. Celia Gibbons, 66, of 806 Hatton St., died Thursday in her home 
after a long illness.


She was a daughter of Mrs. Mary Jernigan Reynolds and the late Charles 
Jernigan. A native of Windsor,NC, she lived in Norfolk 30 years and was a 
member of New Calvary Baptist Church, where she was an usher.


Besides her mother, surviving are her widower, Thomas Gibbons; one son, 
Clifford Lucas; and one daughter, Mrs. Mamie Fentress, all of Norfolk.


The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home. A funeral services will be held in New 
Calvary Baptist Church Monday at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. S. A. Wilson, pastor. 
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
