The Virginian-Pilot, Sunday, September 24, 1978

NORFOLK - Mrs. Edith Mae Gibbs of 608 Wiley Drive, the daughter of Mrs. Viola 
Blackwill, died Thursday in a hospital. She was a native of Norfolk and a member 
of First Calvary Baptist Church.

Other survivors include a son, Don Eugene Hawkins of Norfolk.

The body was taken to Riddick Funeral Service, where arrangements are pending.
