NORFOLK — Mrs. Marion Anderson Gibbs, 63, of Route 1, Kenbridge, the wife of 
Sidney B. Gibbs and a Norfolk native, died Wednesday in a Maryland hospital. 
Survivors also include a daughter, Mrs. Joan Ayers of Oklahoma; five sons, Leo J. 
Gibbs of Kenbridge, Sidney B. Gibbs Jr. of the Army, Michael A. Gibbs of Norfolk, 
Kenneth Gibbs of Petersburg, and Keith Gibbs of Newport News; six sisters; three 
brothers; and six grandchildren.
The Rosary will be recited tonight at 8:30 in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments. A 
funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Gregory the Great 
Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
