Norfolk Journal and Guide,Mar 20,1954  
William H. Gibbs, Jr., 25, of 1239 Maple avenue, Norfolk, died March 7 in 
Richmond VA following a long illness. Funeral services were held March 14 at 
the House of Prayer for All People with Elder C. Wilkerson officiating. Mr. 
Gibbs was a native of Norfolk.


Survivors include the parents, William Gibbs Sr., and Mrs. Estelle Gibbs; 
two sisters, Mrs. Alice Perry, and Miss Beatrice Gibbs; one brother, 
McDonald Gibbs, and other relatives.


Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick’s Funeral Home in charge.
