Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, September 3, 1997 
William R. ``Bean'' Gibbs Jr., 44, of the 2800 block of Bayne Ave., died Aug.
30, 1997.

He was a laborer and a native of Norfolk.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela Gibbs; three daughters, Tomeka, Rashema and
Keona Sawyer; parents, Catherine Gibbs and William Gibbs Sr.; sister, Patricia
Gallop; brother-in-law, Noah Gallop, all of Norfolk; three brothers, Terry,
Carlise, and Michael Gibbs; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle, cousins
and special friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday by Bishop Anthony Moses in
Metropolitan Funeral Service. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The family
will receive friends at 2814 Bayne Ave., Norfolk, and will assemble there on
Friday at 10 a.m. for a funeral procession to the chapel.
