Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, June 6, 1992 
Theophilus ``Boots'' Gibson of the 900 block of Wolcott Ave., a retired packer,
died June 3, 1992, in his home.

Mr. Gibson was born in Norfolk and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He had
retired from the Norfolk Naval Air Station after 40 years.

Survivors include his wife, Mary V. Gibson; a daughter, Doris G. Hall, and a
son, Theophilus Gibson Jr., both of Norfolk; 11 grandchildren; and 14
great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Shiloh Baptist Church by the
Rev. John Foster. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join the
family at the residence. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m.
Monday. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
