LORTON - William C. "Billy" Giddens, 45, departed this life March 26, 2007. He 
lived in Fairfax County the past five years. He was employed by Whole Foods in 
Washington, D.C.

He was predeceased by his father, William Giddens. He leaves to cherish his 
memory two daughters, Denita Simmons and Shannon Harrison; a devoted mother, 
Jeanne K. Giddens; two brothers, David Giddens of Washington, D.C. and Lance 
Giddens (Rosalyn) of Lawton, Okla.; a sister, Kimberly Whitehurst of Wheaton, 
Md.; a grandson, Kaleb Simmons; four nephews, Trevor Whitehurst, Lance Giddens, 
Joshua Giddens and William Giddens; a niece, Skyler Whitehurst; and a host of 
other relatives and friends.

The celebration of life service will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. in Hale 
Funeral Home, 2100 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk. Interment will follow immediately 
in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 
Saturday at 10 a.m.
