The Virginian-Pilot, Sunday, June 17, 1962

NORFOLK - Mrs. Mary L. Giddins, of 778 Lexington St. died Saturday at 12:10 a.m. 
in a Petersburg hospital after a long illness.

A native of Macon, N.C., she was a daughter of Major and Mrs. Nancy Davis and 
the widow of Robert Wilmore Giddins. She was a member of St. John's A.M.E. 
Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Geraldine G. Hardy of Norfolk, and a brother, 
Charles E. Davis of Warrenton, N.C.

The body was taken to B.F. King Funeral Home. A funeral service will be 
conducted in Calvary Cemetery Tuesday.

NORFOLK - A funeral service for Mrs. Mary L. Giddins, who died Saturday, will be 
conducted Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in Calvary Cemetery by the Rev. W.L. Hildebrand. 
B.F. King Funeral Home is in charge.
