Norfolk Journal and Guide, Saturday, June 23,1962
Mrs. Mary L. Giddins of 778 Lexington street was given graveside rites Tuesday
in Calvary Cemetery.  The Rev. W. L. Hildebrand, pastor of St. John’s AME
Church, officiated.  Burial was under direction  of B. F. King Funeral Home.

Mrs. Giddins, a native of Macon, NC, was a member of St. John’s.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Geraldine G. Hardy of Norfolk and a brother,
Charles E. Davis of Warrenton, NC.
