Norfolk Virginian September 5, 1896
Miss Addie Gilbert, of 110 North Reservoir avenue, died yesterday at 2:40 a.m., 
after a long illness. She leaves a brother and two sisters - Mr. Joshua and Misses 
Maggie and Ida. The deceased was 21 years of age. The funeral will take place 
today at 11 a.m. from Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church, of which she was a member. 
Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
