DIED
GILBERT - At Buford Springs, Bedford county, Virginia, Sunday night, August 26, 
1883, MARY ELIZABETH, infant daughter of George W. and Mary Gilbert, aged nine 
months.
Her remains will arrive TODAY via the Norfolk and Western railroad at 4:30 p.m., 
and the funeral ceremonies will take place at the grave.

Additional Comments:
The tombstone shows her death as the 20th, but the 20th was a Monday and the 26th 
was a Sunday.
