Virginian-Pilot, December 31, 1914
Died - At his late residence (indecipherable but City Directory lists his 
address as 4 Cecelia Ave.), Tuesday, December 30, 1914, at 12:15 a.m. BENJAMIN 
F. GILBERT in the 56th year of his age. The funeral services will take place 
at H. C. Smith's funeral apartments, Thursday afternoon, December 31 at ? 
Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment will be in Cedar Grove 
Cemetery.
