NORFOLK — Christina Davidson Gilchrist, 68, of the 1500 block of Virgilina Ave., 
did Nov. 7, 1988, in a hospital.
Mrs. Gilchrist, a native of East Weymouth, Mass., was a member of Holy Trinity 
Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, James C. Gilchrist; a daughter, Sandra G. Batkin of 
Norfolk; a son, James M. Gilchrist of Slidell, La.; a brother, John Davidson Jr. 
of East Weymouth; and four grandchildren.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in Holy Trinity 
Catholic Church by the Rev. Timothy Drake. Burial will be in St Mary's Cemetery. A 
Christian wake service will begin at 7 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 
Tidewater Drive Chapel. The family will remain in the funeral home until 8 p.m. 
tonight to greet friends.
Memorial donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
