NORFOLK - Mrs. Mabel Roper Gildroy, 88, of 127 E. 40th St., died in the Lydia H. 
Roper Home Monday at 6:30 a.m.
She was a native of North Landing and for many years lived in Norfolk.
She was the widow of Elmer C. Gildroy and a daughter of the late Lonsdale G. and 
Mrs. Mary Wilson Roper.
She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church.
Surviving are cousins, C. L. Walker and H. J. Bunting of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be conducted in Cox Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday at 11 
a.m. by Dr. Harris Kessler of Epworth United Methodist Church. Burial will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery.
