Mrs. Fannie B. Giles - Funeral services for Mrs. Giles, 1000 Wood street, who died 
on Feb. 17, were held on Feb. 21 from St. John AME Church with the Rev. H. M. 
Shields officiating. Surviving are her husband, John D. Giles; mother, Mrs. 
Matilda G. Ballard; three brothers, Cornelius, Moses, and John P. Ballard; two 
sisters, Miss M. Elizabeth Ballard and Mrs. Georgia B. Riddick. Interment was in 
Calvary Cemetery with King Funeral Home in charge.
