Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, January 9, 1993
Bryant Gill of the 1000 block of Dubois Drive, a retired supervisory custodian, 
died Jan. 8, 1993, in a local hospital. 

Mr. Gill was born in Henderson, N.C., and was a Baptist. He had retired from the 
Norfolk public school system. He was an Army veteran of World War II. 

Survivors include his wife, Ardelia Newby Gill; four daughters, Sandra Neal of 
Chesapeake, Carolyn Johnson, Janet Gill-Perez and Kim Gill, all of Norfolk; four 
sons, Robert L. Gill Sr., Bryant A. Gill and Albert E. Gill, all of Norfolk, and 
Michael Gill of Virginia Beach; and four brothers, Roosevelt Hill, Eugene White 
and Charles White, all of Norfolk, and Robert Smith of Portsmouth. 

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Smyrna Church of Christ 
Holiness Disciples by Elder James Cherry. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . 
Friends may join the family at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is in charge.
