Norfolk Journal and Guide,Dec 29,1945  
Mrs. Winnie Gilliam - Funeral services for Mrs. Gilliam, 924 Fourth street, who 
died Dec. 12 were held Dec. 17 at Evangelical Christian Temple with the Rev. J. H. 
Howard officiating. She is survived by one son, one daughter, three grandchildren, 
and 13 great grandchildren. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with the Hale 
Funeral Home in charge.
