Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, July 29, 1992 
Gladys Ferebee Gilliam, 84, a retired schoolteacher, died July 25, 1992, in a 
hospital.
Mrs. Gilliam was born in Moyock and had taught in North Carolina for 15 years. 
She was the widow of Haze Gilliam. She was a member of Willow Grove Baptist 
Church.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Magnolia Cemetery. Smith 
& Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements
