Linwood Gilliam, 40, of 1403 W. 4th street, died May 24 in a local hospital. 
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. May 30 at St. Mark's RZUA Church with 
the Rev. Roger Steele officiating.

Mr. Gilliam was a native of Hertford NC, and lived in Norfolk about 15 years. 
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Gilliam; and his parents, Mr. and 
Mrs. Charles Gilliam. Interment was in the family plot at Calvary Cemetery 
with Hale's Funeral Home in charge
