Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, September 22, 1993 
Mattie Martha Gilliam, of the 2500 block of Vincent Ave., died Sept. 19, 1993.

She was born in Norfolk.

She is survived by two grandchildren, Oliver Morris of Brooklyn, N.Y. and George
Gilliam of Norfolk; two nieces, Agnes Hogan of Norfolk and Shirley Hines of
Chesapeake; one nephew, Clarence Epps of Norfolk; and a host of great-nieces and
great-nephews.

A service will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the Graves Funeral Home and presided over
by Rev. Clayton Hall. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery .
