Mr. John Gilliam died at Sarah Leigh Hospital, May first. The funeral took place
at First Calvary Baptist Church, Sunday, May 8th at one-thirty and was largely
attended. The remains were laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery. There were many
beautiful floral designs. He leaves to mourn their loss a wife, two sisters, two
nieces and one nephew as well as a large number of other relatives and friends.
