Mrs. Ruth Ethel Godfrey Gillkin, 55, wife of Earlie Saunders Gillikin Sr., died 
Sunday at 11:30 a.m. in a Norfolk hospital.

A native of Topeka, Kan., she had lived in Norfolk 25 years, lately residing at 
1325 Norview Ave.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, John B. Schroeder and James H. 
Schroed­er of Norfolk; a sister, Hazel Godfrey of Topeka; five brothers, Orville 
Godfrey, Harold Godfrey, Oliver Godfrey, Dale Godfrey and Roland Godfrey of 
Topeka, and three grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Tuesday at 10 
a.m. with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. A Rosary service will begin at the 
funeral apartments today at 7:30 p.m.
