NORFOLK - Rose Marie Gilmore, 77, passed away May 20, 2008, in her home.  Her 
dear, kind soul has moved on to be with those she has missed.

She was retired from the First Colony Coffee and Tea Company in Norfolk.

Mrs. Gilmore is survived by her eight children, Lillie M. Bishop, Forrest B. 
Gilmore Jr., Rose M. Sorey, Joanne Lambert, Mary G. Taylor, Kenneth W. Gilmore, 
Deborah K. Sorey and Richard D. Gilmore; a brother, Ed Waterman; a sister, Betty 
McIntosh; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and 
nephews.

A funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 
Norfolk Chapel, by Father Thomas Powers.  The family will receive friends at the 
funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.  Following the burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, 
the family asks that you please join them at 2209 Wharton Ave., Norfolk.
