VIRGINIA BEACH - Harvey Curtis Gimbert, 87, of 117 N. Lynnhaven Road, husband of 
the late Mrs. Mennie Brooker Gimbert and son of Pryor and Mrs. Emma Dingee 
Gimbert, a life-long resident of Virginia Beach, died in a Norfolk Hospital 
Sunday at 12:15 p.m.
A member of the Lynnhaven Presbyterian Church, he was a merchant and farmer in 
the Virginia Beach area for many years before his retirement.
Surviving are a won, Melvin C. Gimbert of Virginia Beach; a sister, Mrs. Lettie 
Stiser of Wappengers Falls, N.Y.; tow brothers, W. H. Gimbert of Charlottesville 
and E. O. Gimbert of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren and five great-
grandchildren.
The ody will be taken from Ewell and Williamson Funeral Home to Lynnhaven 
Presbyterian Church for a funeral service Tuesday at 2 p.m., conducted by the 
Rev. Marion R. Webb. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. The body will be in the 
church one hour before the service.
