Virginian Pilot March 6, 1909
The funeral of Capt. S.B. Ginn, who died Tuesday night at his home in Lawrence 
street, South Norfolk, in the 67th year of his age, after a lingering illness, 
will be conducted from the residence this afternoon and the interment will be in 
Magnolia Cemetery.  The deceased is survived by a widow and a daughter, Mrs. Ida 
V. Blakey.

The funeral of late Capt. Sherwood B. Ginn, who died at his home in South 
Norfolk Tuesday evening, will be conducted from the residence this morning at 9 
o'clock.  The remains will be laid to rest in Magnolia Cemetery.  The remains 
were held for the arrival of relatives.

The funeral of the late Capt. Sherwood B. Ginn, was conducted from the family 
residence in Lawrence avenue, South Norfolk, Sunday morning at 9 o'clock.  Rev. 
R.B. Scott, pastor of Liberty Street M.E. Church, officiated and the interment 
was in Magnolia Cemetery.
