Walter X. Giraldi, 79, of the 1700 block of Harmon St., a retired machinist, died 
June 30, 1990, in a hospital.

Mr. Giraldi, a native of Braintree, Mass., had retired from General Dynamics in 
Quincy, Mass., after 28 years. He was a Catholic.

Survivors include his wife, Vera B. Giraldi; a daughter, Annabarbara G. Bolles of 
Norfolk; two sisters, Angelina Coletti of Rockledge, Fla., and Treast Furgerson of 
Hingham, Mass.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Pius X Catholic Church by 
Father Anthony V. Rodrigues. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may 
join the family from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made to Lees Friends, 618 Stockley Gardens, Norfolk, 
23507, or to a charity of one's choice.
