Virginian Pilot December 10, 1902

Mrs. Sarah J. Jiraud died suddenly at her residence in South Norfolk yesterday 
morning about 6:30 o'clock.  Mrs. Jiraud was in her 57th year and was the wife of 
Mr. C.C. Jiraud.  The cause of her death is thought to have been heart trouble.  
She arose yesterday morning apparently in good health and lived about one hour.  
The funeral will take place from the residence this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and 
will be conducted by Dr. J.P. Barrett, pastor of the Christian Memorial Temple, 
Brambleton.
