Dorothy M. Gish, 72, a retired invoicing clerk, died July 20, 1995. She was a 
native of Norfolk and was the widow of James F. Gish Sr. She was a life-time 
member of Westminister Presbyterian Church. She was retired from Standard Form 
Printers with 20 years of service. Survivors include her daughter, Joan G. 
Wyrick of Norfolk; one son, James F. Gish Jr. of Chesapeake; two sisters, 
Carolyn Swandt of Oshkosh, Wis., and Frances Merritt of Norfolk; five brothers, 
Charles Marable of Norfolk, Wilson Marable of Norfolk, Carl Marable of 
Jacksonville, Fla., James Marabel of Lake Panasoffkee, Fla., and Robert Marable 
of Chesapeake; and four grandchildren. The graveside service will be conducted 
at 2 p.m. Sunday in Elmwood Cemetery by the Rev. Edwin Rayfield. The family 
will receive friends at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, today 
from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Westminister Presbyterian 
Church, 39th Street and Hampton Boulevard, Norfolk.
