Virginian Pilot September 2 1991
James Floyd Gish Sr., 71, a retired sheet metal worker, died Sept. 1, 1991, in 
his home.

Mr. Gish was born in Norfolk. He had retired from Sheet Metal Workers' Local 
100 after 30 years. He attended Westminister Presbyterian. He was a Coast 
Guard veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy M. Gish; a daughter, Joan G. Wyrick of 
Norfolk; a son, James F. Gish Jr. of Virginia Beach; a sister, Mary E. Donald 
of Chesapeake; and four grandchildren.

The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Elmwood Cemetery 
by the Rev. Edwin Rayfield. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. 
today in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel.
