Virginian Pilot March 25, 1986

James Givens, of the 800 block of Bagnall Road, a retired road repairman, died 
March 14, 1986, in his home.
Mr. Givens, a native of Bluefield, W. Va., had retired from the city of 
Chesapeake. He was a member of Jerusalem Apostolic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Givens; a stepson, Charles Morning of Norfolk; 
nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hale Funeral Home by the 
Rev. J.L. Kearney. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
