The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark January 3, 1914


The funeral of Mrs. Anna Maria Glass, who died in New York, December 30 from 
heart trouble, took place at 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon at St. Luke’s 
Episcopal Church. Services were conducted by Rev. D.W. Howard, pastor of the 
church. The body arrived from New York yesterday morning and was accompanied by 
members of the family. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery. 
Mrs. Glass was a native of Norfolk and was the wife of George Glass of New 
York. She lived in Norfolk until 16 years ago. Mrs. Glass is survived by her 
husband, a son, George A. Glass of New York and a brother, Sidney J. Chamberlin 
of Atlanta Georgia.
Pall-bearers were Barton Myers, H. Mallory Boush, Walter A. Edwards, William L. 
Naker, William M. Newstead and C.O. Bell.
