Moses A. Glasser, Pawnbroker, Dies;

Final Rites Today

Moses A. Glasser, 70, president of M. A. Glasser & Sons, Inc., pawnbrokers, 
[], Berkley, died yesterday at the residence, []. A native of Lithuania, he 
had lived in Norfolk for 61 years. He was a son of the late Davis and Mrs. 
Sarah Frances Sherman Glasser.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rachel Salsbury Glasser; five daughters, Mrs. 
Bertha Cohen and Mrs. Dena Greson (sic), both of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Sadye 
Baer, of Washington; Mrs. Bessie Gross, of Richmond, and Mrs. Shirley (sic) 
Glazer, of Norfolk; four sons, Simcoe Glasser, Bernard Glasser, Jessie (sic) 
Glasser and Reuben Glasser, all of Norfolk; two brothers, Dr. R. D. Glasser, 
of Norfolk, and Louis Glasser, of Cincinnati, and four sisters, Mrs. Annie 
Adelstone, Mrs. Bessie Yavner, Mrs. Etta Alder (sic) and Mrs. Ida Caplan.

Funeral services will be conducted today at 3 p.m. at the H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments by Rabbi Paul Reich, of Beth El Temple, and Rabbi M. Zachariash, of 
Mikro Kodesh Synagogue, Berkley. Burial will be in Mikro Kodesh Cemetery.
