Grandmother Shirlee Glazer passed on Friday, the first night of Hanukkah

Shirlee Frances Glasser Glazer, 85, died Dec. 15, 2006. Shirlee was a native 
of the Berkley section of Norfolk. She was born May 16, 1921, to the late 
Moses and Rachel Salsbury Glasser and was the youngest and last surviving of 
10 children. She was an accomplished portrait artist and childrens fashion 
designer.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Dr. Isaac N. Glazer of 62 years. She 
was the loving mother of Dr. Stanley F. Glazer and wife Candy of Longmeadow, 
Mass., Barbara Vigor and husband Marc of Canton, Mass., and Harry M. Glazer 
and wife Cindy of Great Falls, Va.; and adoring grandma to Rachel, Michael, 
Laura, Adam, Billy, Rebecca, Lauren Rose and Louis Benjamin; and great-grandma 
to Edgar.

A funeral will be conducted at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, 
Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. by Rabbi Michael Panitz. Burial will be at Mikro Kodesh 
Cemetery in Berkley. Donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 225 
N. Michigan Ave., FL 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
