Norfolk Virginian Pilot December 8, 1954

 Frank Gleason, 67, son of Francis and Mrs. Mary Ulrich Gleason, died yesterday 
morning at his home 505 Beacon Road, Highland Biltmore, after a long illness.
A native of St. Louis, Mo., he had lived in this area for 30 years. He was a 
retired chief electrician, USN, and had been retired from the Naval Shipyard in 
Portsmouth. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, the Fleet Reserve and 
the Veterans of Foreign Wars, of Norfolk. He was a veteran of World Wars I and 
II.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Margaret Partin Gleason, two daughters, Mrs. 
Mary Din? and Mrs. Margaret Bussey, both of Augusta, Ga.; two sons,  Sgt. 
Francis J. Gleason, USAF, stationed in Washington and Seaman Edward W. Gleason, 
USCG stationed in Miami and one brother, William Gleason, of St. Louis, Mo. 
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic 
Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Norfolk. Rosary services 
will be held today at 8:30 p.m. at Snellings Funeral Home.

Frank Gleason - Funeral services for Mr. Gleason, who died Tuesday morning after 
a long illness, were conducted yesterday at 10 a.m. by Msgr. Joseph F. R. 
Govaert, of St. Paul’s Catholic Church.
Pallbearers were A. R. Miller, M. E. Stader, P. Falco, G. D. Fauber, A. R. 
Donnelley and J. W. Jurkiewicz. Burial was in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, 
Norfolk.
