Norfolk Ledger Dispatch November 13, 1920


The funeral of Mrs. Carrie May Glenn, wife of George L. Glenn, took place this 
afternoon, at the residence, 817 E. 20th Street, and was conducted by Rev. S. 
A. Donahoe of Cumberland Street Methodist Church, being largely attended. Miss 
Wilkins sang “I Want to Live Closer to Jesus”. There were many beautiful floral 
offerings. The burial was in Cedar Grove Cemetery, the pallbearers being W. H. 
Glenn, H. M. Glenn, H.L. Lewis, L.G. Hill, T.J. Bagley, C.L. Old, Jr.
