J. J. Doherty. “Lead Kindly Light” was sung by Mrs. James Hughes. Many beautiful floral offerings were in evidence, and the casket was covered with a pall of white carnations and smilax. The orphans of St. Mary’s asylum were present in a body. Interment occurred in St. Mary’s cemetery. The pallbearers were: J. A. Baecher, J. E. Allen, W. M. Hannan, J. E. Burke, B. E. Melchor, T. S. Fitzgibbons, W. E. Doherty, W. N. Maynard.
