Funeral services at St. Mary's Catholic Church SATURDAY MORNING at 10 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. ****************** The funeral of Miss Sarah Glennan, who died at 1 o'clock yesterday morning at St. Vincent's Hospital, will take place at St. Mary's Church this morning at 10 o'clock. The announcement of Miss Glennan's death, which occurred after an illness of only a weeks duration, was received with deep sorrow by her wide circle of friends in this city, many of whom were unaware of her illness. For more than a quarter of a century, Miss Glennan had been active in charity work among the needy of St. Mary's congregation and her cheering personality and unselfish devotion endeared her to them and by them she will be deeply missed. She was a daughter of the late Edward and Mary Coleman Glennan and is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mary Espey and several nieces and nephews, all of this city. ******************************************************************** The funeral of Miss Sarah Glennan took place yesterday morning at 10 o’clock at St. Mary’s Catholic church, and was conducted by Rev. J. J. Doherty. “Lead Kindly Light” was sung by Mrs. James Hughes. Many beautiful floral offerings were in evidence, and the casket was covered with a pall of white carnations and smilax. The orphans of St. Mary’s asylum were present in a body. Interment occurred in St. Mary’s cemetery. The pallbearers were: J. A. Baecher, J. E. Allen, W. M. Hannan, J. E. Burke, B. E. Melchor, T. S. Fitzgibbons, W. E. Doherty, W. N. Maynard.
