Glover, 55, husband of Mrs. Kathryn O'Connor Glover and son of George W. Glover and the late Mrs. Mary Glover, died at a local hospital Saturday at 11:20 p.m. He was a native of Portsmouth and a lifelong resident of this section. He resided at 230 East 40th Street, Norfolk, at the time of his death. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church; Council No. 367, Knights of Columbus and Portsmouth Lodge No. 82, B.P.O. Elks. Besides his wife, Mrs. Kathryn O'Connor Glover, of Norfolk, he is survived by two daughters, Misses Mary Maude and Kathryn Clair Glover; one son, George A. Glover, Jr., all of Norfolk; his father, George W. Glover, of Portsmouth; a sister, Mrs. Frank Schwalenberg, of Portsmouth; one brother, Edward Glover, of Washington, D.C. and several nieces and nephews. The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for services Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the funeral apartments today at 7:30 p.m. ****************************************************************************** George A. Glover - Funeral services for Mr. Glover, who died Saturday at a Norfolk hospital, were conducted at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church yesterday at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Vernon Graves. Present in the sanctuary were the Rt. Rev Msgr. Joseph Govaert, the Rev. Francis J. Blakely, the Rev. John Meehan and the Rev. Vincent Murphy. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were John Sullivan, G. P. Hornbake, William Tierney, J. Talley Williams, John Leary and John W. Saunders. Active pallbearers were Theodore Schneider, H. P. Hefner, Richard Barber, Vincent Regan, Dr. J. Franklin Waddill and James J. Cannon.
