CHESAPEAKE - Mrs. Rosa J. Glowatsky, 86, of 2320 Smith Ave., the widow of Dennis 
S. Glowatsky and a native of Baltimore, died Thursday in a Norfolk hospital.
She lived in this area most of her life and was a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic 
Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Anna Curtis of Chesapeake and Mrs. Lena 
ReDavid of Norfolk; two sons, Anthony Sangeorge of Chesapeake and Daniel Glowatsky 
of Virginia Beach; a sister, Mrs. Lena Eckenstein of Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and 
seven great-grandchildren.
A Christian wake will be held tonight at 7:30 in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 
Norfolk. A Joyful Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. 
in St. Matthew’s Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The family 
will be at 5427 Lewis Road, Norfolk.
