Virginian Pilot May 8, 1907

The remains of Mrs. Willie A. Goad, widow of R.P. Goad, formerly of Norfolk 
reached the city Monday night from Lynchburg, where her death occurred on 
Sunday, accompanied by the mother of the deceased, Mrs. Sarah F. Kain.  The 
funeral was conducted by Rev. W.M. Vines. D.D., of the Freemason Street 
Baptist Church at the grave in Elmwood Cemetery at 10 o'clock yesterday 
morning.
