Virginian Pilot October 20, 1991

Florence Lois Godfrey, of the 1800 block of Camelot Drive, a retired secretary, 
died Oct. 17, 1991, in Virginia Beach.
She was born in Norfolk and retired from the Fred Heutte Center in Norfolk.
Survivors include eight sisters, Thelma G. Reese, Iris G. Branch, Myrtle G. 
Whitehurst, Nonie G. Cox, Catherine G. Holman, T. Lee Brown and Eunice G. 
Drumwright, all of Virginia Beach, and Florrie G. Daniels of Norfolk; and three 
brothers, Burt Godfrey, Thomas Godfrey and Dan R. Godfrey, all of Virginia 
Beach.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, Laskin Road, by the Rev. Thomas Murphy. Burial will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Virginia Beach United Methodist 
Church.
