Norfolk Landmark April 9, 1884
GODFREY - On yesterday morning, at the residence of her husband on Chapel street, 
after a brief, but painful illness, CORNELIA A., wife of Wm. T. Godfrey, and 
oldest daughter of Capt. John W. Thomas.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., from Cumberland street M. E. Church. Friends 
of the family are respectfully invited to attend.
